How to Export MusicXML (Musescore, Finale, Sibelius, Dorico, Notion, Guitar Pro)

*If you have a large number of existing MusicXML files that would be time-consuming to upload individually, we can assist you with a bulk upload. Please send all of your XML files to mms-artist@mpaghq.com and be sure to include your artist name. We will take care of the rest.

*If you are having difficulty uploading an XML file because it does not match your PDF, please contact us at mms-artist@mpaghq.com. We will provide you with a solution.




  • Basically, a Music XML file format is required, and the file extensions are as follows:

    • .musicxml, .xml, .mxl

  1. Finale to MusicXML

  • For Finale, you can set the version of the MusicXML file format you are converting through the MusicXML preferences.

    • The current highest version is: MusicXML 4.0

  1. Guitar Pro to MusicXML
